I built the sailing pram ‘Porgy’ Design #195 in 2013 as a tender to fit the foredeck of the sailing vessel ‘Corozon’. It is an intricate piece of work, double planked white cedar on bent frames, full glued and epoxy sealed. It is featured in the book Plans & Dreams Volume II.
Dimensions are 8 ft. 6 in. overall, with 4 ft. 4 in. beam and 132 lbs. weight. It carries a sprit rig of 33 sq. ft. The boat has been well maintained in the years since it was built, and is now available for sale for $5000.
