8ft Child's Rowboat, Design #211

Anyone with children will understand the desire to introduce them to the magic of boating at an early age. Such is the motivation behind this design for a scaled down rowboat, its proportions adjusted to suit little ones in the age range 5-10. While small in size, this is a proper little boat of sophisticated model, several notches above the kind of simple plywood types that kids are more commonly given to play in. Nicely finished and cared for it could easily become a family heirloom.

Construction: Light carvel glassed inside and out, or strip and glass.carvel on bent frames
