22Ft Centreboard Yawl Plan #298
This small shoal draft yawl was drawn with lake sailing in mind but will be equally comfortable in coastal waters. The cockpit is large to accommodate a party for day sails and there is a small two berth cuddy for overnighting. Construction is simple strip and glass all exterior surfaces sheathed for minimum maintenance. Large air tanks fore and aft provide a measure of security in the event of capsize or collision. The boat will have the solid feel of a little ship while still being a project of manageable scale for the home builder.
