7 ft 9 in Plywood Pram Dinghy, Design #58

These little prams were designed as tenders. The 6 ft pram is a light, easily handled boat that can be pulled up over the transom to reduce drag when steaming long distances. It is probably the minimum size for a two-person tender. The 7 ft 9 in version is similar, with a bit more carrying power.

    Construction: Plywood

    Length: 7 ft 9 in
    Beam: 4 ft 0 in
Depth amidships: 1 ft 4 in
    Weight: 70 lbs
    Building time: 50 hours
    Skill level: Basic

    Design #58: 1 Sheets
