15 ft. Double Ended Clinker Skiff Design #290
This slip of a rowboat is based on a skiff from the west coast (Washington State) highlighted in a piece Tom Jackson wrote for WoodenBoat’s Small Boat Annual in 2007. As row boats go it is narrow, with much in common with canoe forms and requires a stroke in which the oar handles overlap. An alternative arrangement is to fit it with fold out oarlocks. Either way, nicely done with a varnished finish throughout it could be an exquisite piece of work.
