22ft Plywood Sloop Design #289
Here's a flight of fancy, a little boat conjured with no particular customer in mind but as a test bed for ideas which taken together might make an interesting single hander. A simple, light hull of plywood construction, subdivided with watertight bulkheads for strength and safety. A large easily built rig, self tacking for easy handling. A powerful steel fin with lead bulb and integral trim tab. And, oh yes, a small tender built into the aft deck. One for the adventurous.
