15ft Flat Bottomed Runabout Design #283
The simplest of outboard runabouts is the flat bottomed skiff. This one is drawn for traditional construction with lapstrake topsides and a cross planked bottom. It is quick to put together from simple materials entailing the minimum of glued work. (An all plywood option is shown on the drawings for those undaunted by epoxy). A most practical boat for knocking about the waterfront.
