30 ft Motor Cruiser, Design #157

With hull lines and construction similar to #143 this 30ft cruiser belongs to the same general family, but deeper transom immersion and flatter sections aft allow for higher horsepower engines and speeds in the semi displacement range. This is a very comfortable all weather motor boat ideal for the cruising couple, but with room to sleep four. Construction is straightforward: one layer of diagonal planking and one layer fore and aft fully glued on sawn frames. This plan is well suited to the amateur builder with the energy and perseverance for a larger project.
