24 ft Launch "Wayward", Design #119
This is an interesting one—very much one man's boat. It was drawn for our old friend Bill Hayward for long distance cruising on inland waterways. The concept is a light, trailerable motor boat with economical fuel consumption but enough speed to get upstream on rivers when necessary. The hull is round bilged and the construction dead simple - cedar strip, glassed inside and out. Accommodation is spartan but comfortable with a vee berth forward and galley and head aft. There are both inside and outside control stations.
