12.2 Metre Schooner, Design #224
The schooner rig comes into its own in this size of vessel. The divided rig makes for ease of handling and a wide choice of sail combination including some interesting light wind options. This will be a lot of fun to be aboard. Below decks there is accommodation for a crew of four in comfort, though three will be sufficient to manage the boat in most conditions. Construction is laminated wood with a glass and epoxy skin for minimum maintenance.
These plans are drawn in metric units and scales.
